Data Breach / Incident Management Process (review and documentation)

This document describes the internal process for managing data breaches. It defines roles, responsibilities and procedures – from reporting and initial assessment of an incident to activating the incident response team (IRT) to legal assessment, reporting to authorities and communication with affected parties. The process is supplemented by checklists, reporting procedures, documentation requirements and guidelines for follow-up. The aim is to ensure that data protection incidents are handled in a structured, traceable and legally compliant manner.
